Two Newark residents were arrested after police say they were caught on surveillance video breaking into cars in Bloomingdale, and later found with stolen items, heroin, and an imitation firearm.
Christian Pagan, 28, and Lurzime Sakir, 43, were taken into custody on Monday, June 2, after Bloomingdale Police responded to a report of a car burglary involving stolen property—including a pepper ball gun, Bloomingdale Police Sgt. Sami Zeidan said.

A traffic stop in Lyndhurst led to the arrest of a Rutherford man and the discovery of a massive stash of illegal drugs and weapons, police said.
The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25, near Park Avenue and Rutherford Avenue, according to Lyndhurst Police Detective Capt. Vincent Auteri.
Detective Michael Giangeruso and Officer Angel Batista pulled over a black Mini Cooper for speeding and a lane violation. The driver, Gavin J. Lebosquet, 47, of Rutherford, had an active arrest warrant out of Hackensack, police said.

Student Brought Imitation Firearm To School: Howell Twp PD
A student brought an imitation firearm to a middle school in Howell Township on Tuesday, March 25, authorities said.
At 7:30 a.m., officers responded to Middle School North after the student created a 3-D printed imitation firearm, transported it on the bus and brought it school, Howell Township police said.
The incident was reported to staff, who retrieved the firearm, which was inoperable and non-functioning, police said. There is no safety concerns for any students, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Three teenagers are facing charges following an armed robbery outside a Long Island shopping mall.
It happened in Garden City, near the Roosevelt Field Mall’s blue parking garage close to the Macy’s, at around 11:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30.
Nassau County Police said a 56-year-old man was walking near the garage when three boys, ages 15, 16, and 17, approached him and demanded his money. One of the teens displayed a firearm.

A local man was charged with aggravated assault and other offenses after shooting projectiles from an imitation firearm at staff members and customers at a Sussex County Walmart, authorities said.
Nicholas G. Sacerdote, 18, is accused of running through the Franklin store and shooting customers and staff members with “gel-like projectiles” from an imitation firearm, borough police said in a Monday, April 10 release.

PA Man, 35, Threatened Route 78 Driver With Imitation Gun In Warren County, Prosecutor Says
A Pennsylvania man has been charged after he allegedly threatened a driver with an imitation firearm on Route 78, authorities said.
Seth Grim, 35, is accused of pointing a firearm and making threatening gestures at another driver on the highway in Pohatcong Township on August 19, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a Tuesday release.
A search of Grim’s car turned up an imitation firearm, Pfeiffer said.
Grim, of Allentown, was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, possession of an imitation firearm, harassment and disorderly conduct.
