A search is underway for a 64-year-old Pennsylvania man after his empty boat was found floating near a New Jersey pier Monday morning, Sept. 14, local police said. Atlantic Highlands police were called to Seastreak Pier around 10:45 a.m. for a report of an unmanned vessel, Police Chief Scott H. Reinert said. At 4:45 p.m., troopers responded to the Garden State Parkway south in Tinton Falls after a Nissan SUV driven by Mark Edgell struck a guardrail, ran off the road to the left and struck a tree, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Rosario Chiovaro, of Verona, was riding a Harley-Davidson east in the express lanes in Union Township when the motorcycle struck the rear of a Peterbilt dump truck around 8:37 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt.
