Students Fall Ill, Prompting Evacuation At John Carroll High School (Updated) John Carroll High School in Bel Air was evacuated Monday afternoon after multiple students suddenly fell ill, according to police. First responders were called to the school shortly before noon on Dec. 9, as fire officials investigated unknown conditions that may have caused the students’ symptoms. In total, 13 people were treated and evaluated at area treatment facilities while several others took themselves to the hospital. All injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
