Update: 'Outstanding' Union Teen Active In ROTC Dies In Car Crash A Union High School student who came from a family of firefighters and belonged to the school's junior ROTC program has died,  the New Jersey Veterans Network said Sunday.  According to the State Police, Anthony Steitz,  17, suffered serious injuries in a car crash Saturday night.  He was driving eastbound on I-78 in Watchung around 11:30 p.m. when his sedan  left the roadway and crashed into some trees. Teen From Union Seriously Injured In I-78 Crash A 17-year-old from Union suffered serious injuries in a car crash Saturday night, State Police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Flynn said.  UPDATE: Daily Voice has learned he has died from his injuries.  Anthony Steitz was driving eastbound on I-78 in Watchung around 11:30 p.m. when the sedan he was driving left the roadway and crashed into some trees. State Police: Chester Man Killed In Tractor Trailer Crash A 91-year-old Chester man was killed after hitting the back of a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder of I-78, state police said. Albert Knight was headed westbound around 11:40 a.m. Tuesday when his car veered out of the right lane, hitting the truck in pulled over in Warren Township near milepost 38.9, NJ.com reports. Knight was pronounced dead at the scene and the truck driver was not injured, the article says.
