HAZMAT: Overturned Propane Tanker Sends 3 To Hospital, Jams I-395 A crash that left a propane tanker overturned sent three people to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon, July 26 on I-395 in Arlington. One Dead In Fiery Crash On I-495 One person died in a fiery crash overnight on Interstate 495 in Fairfax County. The vehicle was heading west toward I-395 northbound when it ran off the highway near Exit 170B, went over the side cement barrier and landed on railroad tracks below in Springfield around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, Virginia State Police said. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to immediately catch fire.  The victim's identity was not released and the accident remains under investigation.

Announced a year ago, the plan to get Massachusetts’ highways in-line with the federal exit numbering strategy - a “milepost-based system” - will soon be visible to motorists, WCVB reports. Rollover Closes Section of I-395 Northbound A portion of I-395, northbound, near Exit 3 in Webster has been closed early this morning, July 16.  State Police report a rollover accident is the cause of the traffic snarls. The area is predicted to reopen around 10 a.m., according to the Massachusetts State Police live traffic map.  As of 9 a.m., highway traffic was slowed to a crawl by Exit 3 and on the nearby Cudworth Road.
