A Connecticut woman who was a passenger died after the vehicle ran off the road and hit a bridge abutment before bursting into flames, according to authorities. The crash occurred in New London County at 10:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, on I-395 northbound in Lisbon. A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. One Dead In Fiery Crash On I-495
One person died in a fiery crash overnight on Interstate 495 in Fairfax County. The vehicle was heading west toward I-395 northbound when it ran off the highway near Exit 170B, went over the side cement barrier and landed on railroad tracks below in Springfield around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, Virginia State Police said.
