Fight Between Friends Turns Violent, Man Stabbed, Hospitalized In Amityville: Police
An argument between two friends erupted into violence, leaving one hospitalized after a stabbing in North Amityville on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 6:25 a.m., Suffolk County Police announced.
Joshua Deluna, 32, of North Amityville, got into an altercation with a 43-year-old Copiague man in front of a home, police said.
During the fight, Deluna allegedly stabbed the man multiple times. The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment, according to police. His current condition has not been disclosed.

Andrew Newsome, 32, was found unconscious outside Shooter’s Crossing on Diller Avenue in New Holland Borough at 11:36 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, according to police. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Five people were hospitalized after a school bus carrying special needs students rear-ended a car in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County, police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The crash happened at around 4:35 p.m. at the intersection of Freemansburg Avenue and Washington Street, according to the Bethlehem Township Police Department.
