A Massachusetts woman was killed when she collided head-on with a box truck on a Hudson Valley road, police said. The crash occurred on Monday, Dec. 2 at around 8:30 a.m., on John Simpson Road in the Putnam County town of Southeast, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. 17-Year-Old Killed After SUV Crashes Into Tree In Merrick
A teenager was killed after a compact SUV crashed into a tree overnight on Long Island. The incident happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 in Merrick. The teen, a 17-year-old boy, was operating a 2021 Honda CRV traveling southbound on Merrick Avenue when the incident happened. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Newark Man Struck By Vehicle In Linden: Police
A 63-year old Newark man was struck by a vehicle in Linden on Tuesday, Sept. 10, authorities said. The crash occurred at midnight on the 1700 block of Route 1, Linden police said in a release. A 2018 Honda CRV was traveling southbound when it collided with the man, police said. The man was treated on scene and taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The identity has been released for a man struck and killed on a Long Island roadway. The crash happened just before 9 p.m. Friday, May 31, in Brentwood. A 44-year-old died after being struck by a runaway driver in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood on Wednesday night, May 29, according to city police. Authorities said the victim was struck just before midnight while crossing the 1800 block of Torresdale Avenue. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead minutes later, police said. The suspect vehicle is a silver or blue Honda CRV that fled east on Torresdale.
