Two men and a woman were killed in a random stabbing spree in Manhattan that left one other person seriously injured. A police department in Westchester is advising residents to be on high alert after a sex offender convicted of rape was found to be frequenting a public library in the county. In an announcement on Thursday, Nov. 14, the City of Rye Police Department detailed an encounter at the Rye Public Library reported by two teenagers. Authorities have identified a homeless man who was killed when he was struck by a New Jersey Transit train in Red Bank. Joseph Rego Jr., 52, died in the crash on Tuesday, Oct. 8, an NJ Transit spokesperson said on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
