A 27-year-old man from Ocean County has admitted to a shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said. Louis Stokes, of Barnegat, pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree aggravated assault, second-degree possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose, and third-degree hindering apprehension on Thursday, July 25, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. An 18-year-old Guttenberg teen was arrested and hit with weapons charges on Friday, July 5, authorities said. Officers had apprehended Miguel Palma after he was wanted on an active warrant for a theft, Guttenberg police said in a release.
