One person was hospitalized after a high rise fire produced a daring rescue in North Bergen on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 23, authorities said. At 10 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire at the Stonehenge building on the 28th floor of 8200 Blvd. East, North Bergen police said. The fire was confined to a single unit, North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco said. A blaze on a high floor at a Northern Westchester apartment complex proved to be a difficult battle for firefighters. The blaze began in Peekskill on Friday, March 22 just before 2:30 p.m., when a fire alarm was set off at the Crossroads Apartments at 1109 Brown St., according to the City of Peekskill Fire Department. One Injured In Reservoir Hill High Rise Fire
At least one person is injured after a fire in a Baltimore high rise, authorities say. Emergency crews arrived at the 200 block of Druid Park Lake Drive after reports of a fire in an apartment building around 10 a.m., Monday, March 20, according to Baltimore officials. The fire was found in an apartment on the 7th floor of the building and was able to be contained by a fire sprinkler system. The injured person is being treated by emergency crews for their injuries.

Man Critically Burned In Secaucus Fire
A 56-year-old man was left critically burned in a Secaucus high-rise fire Friday, April 8, authorities said. Multiple smoke detector notifications brought police and firefighters to The Elms on Fifth Street around 2:35 p.m., where heavy smoke was coming from unit 406, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
