A 17-year-old's quick thinking saved his neighbors and their dogs during an apartment fire in western Pennsylvania on Tuesday, August 2, authorities say. Falcon O'Regan grabbed a trampoline when he saw his neighbors were stuck on the upper floors of their apartment building. A Stafford Deputy sprung into action on Wednesday, July 6 to save a driver suffering a medical emergency, police said. Deputy J.W. McAlister was driving near the intersection of Cambridge Street and Warrenton Road when he noticed a Ford F-150 had crashed into the side of a Virginia State Trooper, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said. A grandfather who died after saving his two young grandchildren from a raging house fire has been identified by police. Putnam County resident Jintu Zheng, age 65, of Lake Carmel, was found inside the burning home on Scarsdale Road around 10 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, said the Kent Police. UPDATE: A trio of Paterson police heroes evacuated a multi-family home during a Saturday morning fire, getting several residents to safety, authorities confirmed.
