Snow Emergency In Effect In Norwalk Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling has declared a snow emergency in the city, which was put in effect as of 8 p.m. on Tuesday night. Residents have been asked to remove all parked cars from city streets to allow Public Works crews to efficiently clear roadways of snow, as more than a foot is expected to drop in the region. Vehicles that remain parked on the street may be ticketed or towed, the Norwalk Police Department warned.
