Friends and well-wishers are coming together to help a Maryland woman move forward after tragedy struck her Hagerstown family repeatedly.
The community has raised thousands of dollars on behalf of Kim Liller, the widow of insurance agent Jason Liller, 44, who recently passed away, continuing a tragic trend of family members unexpectedly dying.
Jason Liller died on Friday, Jan. 10, following the death of his sister, Erica, in 2021, and daughter 13-year-old Jane, in April last year.

A 21-year-old former three-sport varsity athlete from South Hagerstown High School was killed when his car rear-ended a tractor-trailer on Interstate 81 in Antrim Township, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, Dec. 16.
Dru N. Feeley, of Hagerstown, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, near mile marker 6.9, troopers said.
He was driving a 2005 Dodge Neon at a high speed in the left lane of I-81 North when he struck the rear of a 2021 Peterbilt 579 tractor-trailer, investigators said.

Hagerstown Man Threatens To Kill Chambersburg Dinner Date: PA State Police
A Hagerstown man is accused of threatening to shoot and kill a Chambersburg woman after they had dinner together, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The release, obtained by Daily Voice on Wednesday, Dec. 4, states that Bell Njiomegni, 30, sent numerous threatening text messages to the 27-year-old woman late Sunday, Oct. 28, 2024.
Troopers responded to the victim’s home on Heintzelman Avenue in Hamilton Township, where they reviewed the texts, which allegedly confirmed Njiomegni's threats.
Njiomegni now faces charges of terroristic threats and related offenses, police said.

A man already convicted of sex offenses in Maryland is heading to prison after admitting to new child porn charges earlier this year, federal authorities announced on Friday.
Hagerstown resident Chad Christopher Langgle, 30, who previously was convicted of sex offenses in Calvert and St. Mary's counties, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release, a judge ordered on Friday, Oct. 11.
