UPDATE: A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in last week’s crash on Route 46, authorities confirmed. The crash occurred between the motorcyclist and a Jeep Cherokee on Route 46 at Village Way in Mount Olive during the afternoon on Thursday, Nov. 10, a Morris County Prosecutor’s spokesperson told DailyVoice.com. The victim was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center and pronounced dead shortly after. The crash remains under investigation by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. No further details were available.

One person had to be extricated and two others were hospitalized following a serious crash in Morris County, authorities said. The Long Valley First Aid Squad responded to the crash during the afternoon on Tuesday, Sept. 6, the department said. Crew members stabilized the vehicle and used a cross ram technique to remove the b-pillar from the victim. Driver Hospitalized After Camry Hits Overturned Ford On Route 80 In Morris County
The driver of a Ford passenger vehicle was hospitalized after the vehicle overturned and was struck by a Camry on Route 80, state police said. The Ford passenger vehicle went off the road, reentered the road and overturned on Route 80 westbound near milepost 26.4 in Netcong just before 9:35 p.m. Saturday, NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. A Toyota Camry then struck the Ford, Goez said. The Ford driver was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. A McDonald's employee suffered burns on her palm when a customer handed her a smoking dollar bill, authorities said. The McDonald's worker took the cash around 10:25 p.m. Sunday and realized only after it was in her hand that it was still "smoldering," Hackettstown police said.
