A 26-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged on Monday, Nov. 4, with robbing a pharmacy at gunpoint last year, authorities said.
On Saturday, Dec. 30, Nariq Petes and an accomplice drove to a pharmacy wearing black masks, US Attorney Phillip Sellinger said. Once inside the pharmacy, Petes brandished a handgun and demanded prescription drugs, Sellinger said. Petes and his conspirator took at least six bottles of prescription medication, Sellinger said.

On Nov. 28, 2022, Eddie Tyree James White, a 26-year-old Delaware resident, approached a USPS mail carrier while she was in her USPS vehicle in Newark, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said.

Four Newark men were arrested and charged on Thursday, Aug. 1 with robbing a postal worker at gunpoint last November, authorities said.
Last November, three people, including Troy Corbett, 28, and Dyshawn Williams, 28 stole the victim's cell phone, keys and wallet, containing a credit card and debit card, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said. A Bensalem 7-Eleven store worker was robbed at gunpoint last week, leaving police looking for two suspects, authorities said.
