A 30-year-old Mansfield contractor was arrested and charged on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Mount Olive after he threatened two other contractors with a gun last month, authorities said.
On Thursday, Jan. 9 at 11:58 a.m., officers responded to a residence under construction on Mount Olive Road after a contractor, later identified as Austin Cole, threatened two contractors while brandishing a handgun after an argument, Mount Olive police said. A 19-year-old Jersey City resident and an 18-year-old Bayonne resident were arrested and charged on Sunday, Dec. 22 after they were found to be in possession of drugs and guns in Bayonne, authorities said.
At 5:45 p.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at 32nd Street and Broadway, Bayonne police said. During the investigation, the driver, Tyrone Johnson, a Jersey City resident, was found to be in possession of a partially loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun with a large capacity magazine, police said.

Three masked suspects forced their way into a Wall Township home, stealing a Porsche, a gun, and keys, authorities said.
The burglary happened on River Road at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release.

A 32-year-old man was arrested after allegedly threatening a truck driver with a gun at a truck stop in Carlisle, Middlesex Township police announced on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024.
Freddy Simon-Castro, of unknown address, is accused of pointing a gun at a driver at 1501 Harrisburg Pike on Sunday, Nov. 24, police said in the release. Officers were called to the scene, but Simon-Castro had fled before their arrival.
