Wrong Turn Case: Suspect In Death Of 20-Year-Old 'Uncooperative,' Sheriff In Upstate NY Says
A New York man accused of opening fire on a group of people who accidentally turned down his driveway, killing a 20-year-old woman, is not cooperating with police, authorities said.
The shooting happened Saturday night, April 15, in Washington County, in the town of Hebron, located southeast of Glens Falls.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, April 17, Washington County Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy said the suspect, 65-year-old Kevin Monahan, has refused to speak to investigators about the shooting.

Car Thefts More Likely In Western Mass Than Anywhere Else In State - Metros Ranked
The Springfield metropolitan area has the highest vehicle-theft rate in Massachusetts, according to new crime analysis.
In 2019, more than 1,000 motor vehicles were stolen from the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical region, which includes much of Hampden and Hampshire counties.
That means in the Springfield metro area there were 145 car thefts per 100,000 people, according to insurance.com data.
Last year in the Boston metro area, over the same time period, the theft rate was 85.

Toys 'R' Us Will Shut Down 182 Stores, Including One In Westchester
Toys "R" Us, which filed for bankruptcy last fall, plans to close as many as 182 outlets, about one-fifth of its total number of stores across the country, according to a court filing late Tuesday.
A shift by customers to online shopping and increased competition led to the move, the Wayne, New Jersey-based company said.
