A known drug and gun trafficker who is no stranger to the law in Virginia is going to spend another 15 years behind bars after being sentenced for distributing kilos of fentanyl throughout the area, federal authorities announced. Carrington Hammond, 29, who has been prosecuted multiple times for drug and weapons offenses, according to officials, has been sentenced after being busted with an illegal weapon and host of drugs inside an Alexandria apartment. A 53-year-old Union man was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 18 and hit with numerous charges after a search of his home turned up a ghost gun, drugs and $85,000 in cash, authorities said. An Egg Harbor Township man pleaded guilty to a weapons charge after he was accused of pointing a ghost gun at a woman last year, authorities said. Shron Stotts, 32, pleaded guilty on Thursday, Jan. 25 to second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm without a permit, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced.
