New Cheshire Whole Foods Offering Giveaways For Grand Opening At Shops At Stone Bridge Location
After months of waiting, Whole Foods Market will open its 13th location in Connecticut this week, and early shoppers can earn some special perks.
The 42,000-square-foot store, located at 1985 Highland Ave. in Cheshire, opens on Thursday, Feb. 5. The new store is part of the Shops at Stone Bridge, a new retail center owned by Regency Centers. Other tenants include TJ Maxx, Barnes & Noble, and Chipotle.

Newark Handing Out Thousands Of Donated Turkeys
Mayor Ras Baraka of Newark will be helping distribute more than 6,000 turkeys and other food items on Monday from noon to 7 p.m. at the JFK Recreation Center, 211 W. Kinney St. (enter on Howard Street).
Residents from each of the city’s five wards have pre-registered to receive their free turkey in time for Thanksgiving, Nov. 28.
