Flood Watch Issued As Heavy Rain Hits Bridgeport FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A flood watch is in effect for Fairfield County through Saturday morning, as rain and possibly some thunderstorms could hit this weekend. Friday will be unseasonably warm, with temperatures reaching a high of 58, according to the National Weather Service. There will be no chance to enjoy it, though, because there area will be inundated with rain all day. It could be heavy at times, and 2 or 3 inches could be possible through Saturday.
