Flood Watch Issued As Heavy Rain Hits Bridgeport FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A flood watch is in effect for Fairfield County through Saturday morning, as rain and possibly some thunderstorms could hit this weekend. Friday will be unseasonably warm, with temperatures reaching a high of 58, according to the National Weather Service. There will be no chance to enjoy it, though, because there area will be inundated with rain all day. It could be heavy at times, and 2 or 3 inches could be possible through Saturday. Flood Watch: Heavy Rain, Melting Snow Could Make A Mess In Fairfield County FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Heavy rain combined with melting snow is in the forecast for Friday morning through Saturday, leading the National Weather Service to issue a Flood Watch for Fairfield County and all of Connecticut.  The weather Thursday will be foggy and cloudy, with a high near 49. By nighttime, rain will move into the area with widespread fog. By Friday, moderate to heavy rain will move across the state. Temps will be in the upper 50s with widespread fog.
