DEA, Norwalk Police Investigation Leads To 17 Warrants, Large Amount Of Drugs, Cash, Cops Say
A large amount of drugs and cash were seized, and numerous arrest warrants were served following an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Agency and local police in Fairfield County.
The warrants were executed in Norwalk and Darien on Monday, April 29, by the Norwalk Police, Stamford Police, Darien Police, US Marshals Service, and the Bridgeport Office of the DEA.
According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, the busts were the result of a 6-month investigation into fentanyl trafficking in the greater Norwalk area.

Ecstasy, cocaine and a fully-loaded large-capacity magazine were seized from a Wyoming driver whose car was parked in a Bayonne 7-Eleven lot for several hours, authorities said.
Officers visiting the convenience store on Avenue C were advised of a suspicious car that had been parked there for several hours around 12:30 a.m., Dec. 18, Bayonne Police Capt. Eric Amato said.

On Tuesday, Aug. 18, police were investigating another incident when they noticed an alleged hand-to-hand drug deal, police said.

Four men have been indicted on charges they sold drugs to motorists pulling off I-78 in Newark in what authorities described as a "drive-thru," Attorney General for New Jersey Gurbir S. Grewal said Monday.
