Owned and operated by the Veseli family since 2003, Mezzaluna will reopen with new menu items as well as a renovated and remodeled interior. "We’ve got handmade pasta we make fresh daily, bread we bake continuously so it’s always warm, and our own unique homemade desserts," the family said on social media.  "We have put a lot of blood and sweat into rebuilding our restaurant. Iconic East End Theater To Reopen Years After Fire A beloved movie house on the island's East End that was destroyed by fire will re-open. A 2016 fire devastated the Sag Harbor Cinema Arts Center. A group known as the Sag Harbor Partnership raised money to buy Sag Harbor Cinema from its owner Gerald Mallow in 2017 and has continued to raised funds to rebuild the landmark theater. The new Center will carry on the tradition of exceptional programming and expand to include a new not-for-profit, the Sag Harbor Cinema Arts Cente.
