A bakery that has served its Westchester community for more than eight decades is now asking for help in recovering from a devastating fire that forced it to close. Mezzaluna is back in business. The Allendale bar and bistro, which has been closed since a fire ripped through it Christmas Eve, will reopen on Tuesday. Owned and operated by the Veseli family since 2003, Mezzaluna will reopen with new menu items as well as a renovated and remodeled interior. Iconic East End Theater To Reopen Years After Fire
A beloved movie house on the island's East End that was destroyed by fire will re-open. A 2016 fire devastated the Sag Harbor Cinema Arts Center. A group known as the Sag Harbor Partnership raised money to buy Sag Harbor Cinema from its owner Gerald Mallow in 2017 and has continued to raised funds to rebuild the landmark theater.
