'Melting Highway': I-95 Collapse Caused By Tanker Fire In Philadelphia
Part of Interstate 95 running through Philadelphia collapsed after a tanker underneath it caught fire early Sunday, June 11. The 6 a.m. eruption happened between Exit 32 for Academy Road and Exit 30 for Cottman Avenue in Tacony, Pennsylvania State Police said. Sprinklers Help Contain Fire At MD HS; Students, Staff Evacuated
Fire sprinklers came to the rescue of a Harford high school when a blaze broke out on Tuesday afternoon before dismissal. Crews from the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company were called to Joppatowne High School at approxiamtely 2 p.m. on Tuesdayay 16, where students and staff evacuated after a fire was reported, sending smoke through parts of the building.
