Elizabethtown Man ID'd In 12-Year Cold Case Through Genetic Genealogy: Coroner
The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office has identified skeletal remains discovered in a wooded area of West Donegal Township in 2012 as Mitchell L. Mendelson of Elizabethtown, officials announced. The remains were found by a hunter on November 1, 2012, near Cemetery Road, according to a release from the coroner's office. Mendelson, 60, had retired from Red Rose Transit Authority in Lancaster and moved to Elizabethtown in 2011. An Atlantic City man was accused of using drones to drop dye packs into pools more than a year ago, causing thousands of dollars in damage, authorities said.
