A West Windsor teen has been accused of driving drunk and more than twice the speed limit in a crash that killed his passenger, authorities said.
Rehan Jahangir, 18, was given four charges in the Tuesday, Aug. 20 crash, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Theresa Hilto said in a news release on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Paramus Mall Shoplifting Becomes Robbery When Female Employee Is Thrown To Floor
A shoplifter threw an employee at the Nieman Marcus store in Paramus to the floor after she caught him stealing more than $1,000 worth of clothing, authorities said.
Jimmy Sattan, 31, of Jersey City was chased down and captured by Paramus Police Officer Michael Mordaga in the Garden State Plaza parking lot moments after the 8 p.m. robbery on June 5, Police Chief Robert M. Guidetti said.

Jeffrey Backlund, 57, of Waretown, took a deal from the government rather than face trial, pleading guilty on Wednesday, April 27, to illegally possessing all of them, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Westchester Man Charged For Stealing Used Cooking Oil Arrested Again In Fairfield County
A 26-year-old Westchester man who was arrested last year for stealing used cooking oil from an area business has been arrested again for using a fake name at the time he was apprehended in Fairfield County.
Jonathan Garces, age 26, of Yonkers, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 22, on a warrant by Westport Police following an investigation into the first incident, said Lieutenant David Wolf.
