Measles is back on Virginia's radar.
State health officials issued a warning on Thursday, Aug. 27, after learning that a person with a confirmed case traveled through Reston while infectious on Sunday, Aug. 16, potentially exposing people at four businesses.
The infected person lives outside Virginia, according to the Department of Health, which is working to identify and notify anyone who may have been exposed.
The potential exposure sites are:

Four Connecticut men spent nearly an hour holding onto the hull of their overturned boat in the Long Island Sound before being rescued by Suffolk County Marine Bureau officers, authorities said.
The 20-foot center console power boat capsized near Stratford Shoal—the middle ground of the Sound— on Sunday, July 13, according to Suffolk County Police.

A 22-year-old woman has been arrested for the murder of her newborn daughter who was allegedly left outside in freezing temperatures to die.
Orange County resident Nicole Layman, of Port Jervis, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 18, by detectives, said police.
