A state trooper was accused of trying to pay for sex from someone he believed was a teen girl and asking for sexual pictures, authorities said. A 60-year-old man from Ewing went missing on Thursday, June 20, authorities said. Stanley Matthews, age 60, was last seen at 6:30 a.m., leaving his residence on West Upper Ferry Road for his morning walk, Ewing police said. A 61-year-old woman from Ewing died Thursday, May 23, two days after being stabbed by her son, authorities said. Maggie McNeil was found covered in blood after being stabbed by her son Theodore N. There was a pedestrian struck and killed along Route 1 in Lawrence Township, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14 on the 3300 block of Brunswick Pike (Route 1), police said. The 39-year-old driver from Ewing and passengers were not injured.
