: Route 9W Closed After Pickup Slams Into Pole
A driver from the West Coast was hospitalized after he crashed his new pickup truck into a utility pole on Route 9W in Englewood Cliffs, downing wires and forcing the entire road closed, authorities said. The 36-year-old resident of Santa Cruz, CA was taken to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center after his 2023 Ford F150 crashed on Sylvan Avenue just south of Sherwood Avenue shortly before midnight Monday, Aug. 14, Englewood Cliffs Police Detective Lt. Alpine Driver, 44, Killed In Crash Outside CNBC Campus In Englewood Cliffs
A 44-year-old Alpine resident was killed when his car slammed into a tree on Route 9W in Englewood Cliffs over the weekend, authorities said. The Asian driver was alone when his southbound BMW ran off the road near the CNBC Sylvan Avenue campus shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday, July 23, Detective Lt. Ronald F Waldt said.
