New Ranking Reveals Top 50 Restaurants Nationwide
Fifty restaurants nationwide have been selected by The New York Times as "restaurants we love most in 2022."
The selections include eateries from Portland, Maine to Eastsound in Washington State, and include restaurants in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oklahoma, among other states, including two in Nashville, Tennessee, and two in Coral Gables, Florida.
The list was published on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Connecticut didn't make the cut, but neighboring New York State had six restaurants selected, with five of them in New York City:

New York Man Wins $5 Million Scratch-Off Prize
A New York man has claimed a $5 million lottery prize.
Carlos Torrelino, of Elmhurst, Queens, won a top prize from the X Series: 100X scratch-off game, New York Lottery announced on Monday, Aug. 29.
He received his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $3,255,000 after required withholdings, NY Lottery said.
The winning ticket was purchased at Gorkha Mini Mart, which is located at 85-42 Grand Ave. in Elmhurst, the lottery said.
New York Man Claims $10 Million Lottery Prize
A New York man has won a $10 million lottery prize.
Joseph Crisanti, a resident of Elmhurst, Queens, claimed a top prize from the New York Lottery’s $10,000,000 Deluxe scratch-off game, NY Lottery announced on Wednesday, June 15.
He received his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $6,122,400 after required withholdings, the lottery said.
The ticket was purchased at Green Grocery Convenience, which is located at 82-81 Broadway in Elmhurst, the lottery said.
Man, Accomplices Stole $1M In Cash, Items From Gated Long Island Homes, DA Says
A man was convicted for his role in a pattern burglary ring that targeted homes in gated communities on the North Shore of Long Island.
Brayan Castano, 33, of Elmhurst, Queens, was convicted on Friday, Oct. 22 in a jury trial of seven counts of burglary in the second degree, attempted burglary in the second degree, and possession of burglar’s tools.
Castano was acquitted of one count of burglary in the second degree. The trial began on Monday, Sept. 20. The jury deliberated for just over a day before rendering a verdict. Castano is due back for sentencing Tuesday, Jan. 11.

Alleged Prostitute Charged In Connection To Death Of Head Chef At Renowned NYC Restaurant
An alleged prostitute has been charged in connection with the death of the head chef of the glitzy Cipriani Dolce restaurant in Grand Central Terminal who was found stuffed in a garbage can in a motel room.
The body of Andrea Zamperoni, 33, of Queens, was discovered by New York City Police around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Kamway Lodge & Tavern in Elmhurst, a dumpy Queens motel, after officers responded to a call of an unconscious man, said the NYPD.
