A New York man is facing charges after police say he pulled out an imitation gun during a road rage incident in Bergen County last weekend.
On Sunday, Aug. 31, at about 10:35 a.m., officers were called to Bergen Boulevard and E. Central Boulevard in Palisades Park for a report of a driver brandishing a handgun, Police Chief George Beck said.
Patrol Officer Stephen Kim spotted the suspected vehicle and driver several blocks away, Beck said. During the investigation, Kim found an imitation firearm believed to have been used in the incident, according to police.

Four people were arrested after undercover investigators allegedly caught them selling alcohol and tobacco to minors.
On Wednesday, Oct. 11, Nassau County Police arrested the following men as part of its “Project 21” initiative:
Mohamad Hasan, age 62 of Elmhurst;
Edward Coughlin, age 39 of Seaford;
Tony Torres Navarro, age 42 of Locust Valley; and
Vikram V. Billa, age 27 of Glen Cove.
The arrests were made using underage agents, officials said.

In Brooklyn federal court, 10 members and associates of the Indios Locos Salvatruchas clique of La Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), a transnational criminal organization, were charged with murder in-aid-of racketeering, attempted murder, murder conspiracy, related firearms offenses, and marijuana distribution conspiracy.

Leonardo Martinez, 42, of Elmhurst, was busted following a stop on Friday, Feb. 16, when members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Bucks Hollow Road in the Mahopac area of the Town of Carmel.
