Urgent Warning Issued Over Electrical Dangers Found In Power Washers Federal regulators are warning about two types of power washers over electrical hazards that could lead to serious injuries or death. The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued warnings for Le Hao Tool and HOTFINE pressure washers on Thursday, Sept. 10. The machines lack safety protections designed to prevent electric shock and electrocution. About 3,100 Le Hao Tool pressure washers were originally recalled in April. The pressure washers lack an integrated immersion protection device on or near the power plug, also known as a Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI). PA Dad Electrocuted While On The Job, Authorities Say A beloved Pennsylvania dad died after striking an active electrical line while working, authorities say.  Marty Mundis, 49, of the 800 block of West Broadway, York Township, was killed while on a job site in 12000 block of Mt Olivet Road in North Hopewell Township on Monday, according to a release by the York County Coroner's Office.  The coroner was called to a report "that a man died after they struck a high-voltage electrical line" at 12:18 p.m. on Aug. 21.  Chief Deputy Coroner Tania Zech responded to investigate the scene and certify the death.  Marty died of elec…

Thief Found Dangling, Moaning From PA Power Tower: Reports The man found moaning and dangling from a power line tower in Pennsylvania Friday, Nov. 4 was trying to steal wire when he suffered an electric shock so powerful that it threw him from his perch, authorities told various news outlets. The man was cutting 100 feet of wire from the top of a tower that he'd secured himself to in Plainfield Township, when he suffered an arc that traveled across his upper body, throwing him about 20 or 30 feet down the pole, police told WFMZ.
