A Lancaster County man has been sentenced to 2.5 to 10 years in state prison after admitting to sexually exploiting juveniles online and stockpiling an enormous collection of child pornography, the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office announced Friday, Dec. 20.
Kenneth Lee Schmidt, 46, of East Earl Township, pleaded guilty to 49 felony charges, including possession and dissemination of child pornography, solicitation of minors, and corruption of minors, prosecutors said.

An Amish man with a total of 92 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was struck dead when his horse and buggy were struck by a BMW SUV, authorities told Daily Voice on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

A man previously found with over 1,000 pornographic images of children, has now been charge with sexually assaulting a teenage girl, according to East Earl Township police.
David Horning Martin, 28, was arrested on Tuesday for the fondling incident, according to police.
The charges stem from an incident involving a then-17-year-old girl at a friend’s home in the 100 block of Redwell Road in East Earl Township in December 2017.
Martin, 24-years-old at the time, allegedly offered to massage her, the victim told police in August.
