A man asleep at the wheel in a car parked at a Maryland gas station was busted with drugs and an illegal shotgun, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff's Office.
Mechanicsville resident Alexander Wayne Pope, 28, is facing drug and weapon charges in St. Mary’s County after being caught during a welfare check with a defaced shotgun and cocaine, officials announced on Monday, Oct. 3.

THC Gummies Found At Bellmore Store, 4 Men Facing Drug Charges, Police Say
Four men are facing drug charges after police reported recovering THC gummies from a Long Island cigar shop.
The arrests were made during an investigation at Bellmore Cigars, Vapor, Lotto Store, located at 2825 Merrick Road in Bellmore, at 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, the Nassau County Police Department reported.
Police said officers executed a search warrant and discovered that the THC gummies were being sold at the location.

Landlord-Tenant Dispute Leads To Drug Arrest: Brick PD
A landlord-tenant dispute over a potential theft resulted in a drug arrest on the Jersey Shore, authorities said.
On Friday, Aug. 19, at 9 p.m., Brick police located the suspect’s vehicle and identified the driver as Christopher Sherrill, 45, of Brick, police said.
As officers approached Sherril, he allegedly tried to toss a glass pipe containing crystal methamphetamine and resisted attempts to place him under arrest, police said.

Long Island Duo Nabbed With Drugs During Traffic Stop, Police Say
A Long Island duo was allegedly nabbed with crack cocaine and heroin during a traffic stop in which one of the suspects attempted to flee from police.
George Williams, age 43, of Freeport, and Casey Daus, age 23, of Massapequa Park, were arrested on Tuesday, June 21 in Elmont.
According to detectives, officers stopped the couple driving a 2001 black Nissan Altima for a traffic violation.
