Dickey, 26, of Carlisle, reportedly threatened to kill a dog owner for "letting it run loose in the area," of Walnut Lane in Middlesex Township on July 27, area police say.  When the owner attempted to retrieve the dog Dickey supposedly began harassing him and threatened to kill him, police explained in a release on August 7.  He was charged with a summary offense for harassment, according to cour…

Firefighters Rescue Pooch On The Lam Who Escaped To Tiny Prince William Island Prince William County firefighters had to rescue a dog after it escaped from animal control earlier this week.  The fire department shared photos of a daring water rescue of a chihuahua who got loose from Animal Control and jumped into a pond to escape on Tuesday, July 5. Firefighters jumped into a boat along with animal control workers and captured the pirate pooch after it doggy paddled to a small island a few hundred feet away from the shore.  They returned the wet dog to shore without injury.
