Friends, family, and fans are mourning the sudden loss of Mossna M. Varasteh, a Bergen County native known worldwide as DJ Ammo, whose reach spanned from New York City to Asia.
Varasteh, 42, died on Tuesday, July 8. He had gone to bed, gotten up around 5 a.m., gone back to sleep and was found unresponsive just hours later, his loved ones said. An exact cause has not yet been identified.
Ammo had recently returned from performances in Japan, Germany, Amsterdam, and Aruba, and was still DJing major New York City events just weeks before his passing.

A 29-year-old Maryland man who was reported missing late last month has been found dead, his grieving family confirmed.
George Njoroge, of Silver Spring, was last seen on the morning of Wednesday, June 25, near the 900 block of Windmill Terrace, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.
A missing person flyer was issued by the department on Friday, June 27, asking for the public’s help locating him.

Trenton Woman Killed On Route 295 After Crashing Into Truck: Njsp
A 64-year-old Trenton woman was killed in a crash on Route 295 in Gloucester County on Monday, July 7, authorities said.
At 11:54 a.m., troopers responded to Route 295 in Logan Township after a Dodge minivan struck the back of a Freightliner that was parked on the right shoulder, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
Ibtissam Sankar, the driver of the Dodge, was killed in the crash, Lebron said. A passenger in the Dodge sustained minor injuries, Lebron said.
The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

A 24-year-old Bridgeton man was killed in a wrong-way crash on the Atlantic City Expressway on Saturday, July 5, authorities said.
At 4:27 a.m., police responded to a report of a wrong way driver on the Expressway, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
While en route, they found the vehicle, a silver Infinity, had crashed into a concrete barrier and toll reader support structure in Pleasantville, Marchan said.

John Bender, who wore many hats for the Township of North Bergen, died on Thursday, July 3, his family announced.
Bender served on the Zoning Board of Adjustment, was a Democratic committeeman and also worked for the North Bergen Board of Education, according to HudPost.
