Two-Vehicle Crash Leaves Man Seriously Injured, CT State Police Say A driver was hospitalized with serious injuries following a head-on crash in Connecticut.  A 2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 was westbound on East Canaan Road in Litchfield County in the town of North Canaan when it crossed the double yellow centerline and struck an eastbound 2012 Volkswagen Jetta at about 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, according to Connecticut State Police.
