One city in Atlantic County is cracking down on unsupervised teens late at night after several issues in other parts of the Jersey Shore, authorities said. A city in Monmouth County said it's renewing an effort to crack down on unauthorized “pop-up” parties. The mayor and public safety director of Long Branch issued a joint statement on Tuesday, June 4 about a "significant police presence" over the upcoming weekend. Those under 18 years old will need adult supervision after midnight in one New Jersey beach town. Trick-or-treaters in a Westchester County city are being issued curfews by police to prevent them from being out too late. Police in Yonkers have issued a citywide curfew for children 16 and younger for Halloween night on Monday, Oct. 31, according to authorities.
