Man Who Made Threats Against Fauci, Other Feds Sentenced In Maryland
The man who admitted to making threats toward Dr. Anthony Fauci, his family, and other federal officials will spend years behind bars after being sentenced to federal prison time in Maryland.
West Virginia resident Thomas Patrick Connally, Jr., 57, was sentenced to 37 months in prison by US District Judge Paula Xinis for making threats against a federal official, specifically for sending emails threatening to harm Fauci.

MontCo DA: Men Spent Hours Trying To Cover Up ODing Friend's Death Before Dumping His Body
Two Montgomery County men are accused of spending three hours trying to cover up their friend's overdose death instead of summoning help, then dumped his lifeless body -- dripping wet -- outside of a local hospital, authorities said Thursday.
Joshua Benner, 28, of Telford, and Ronald Shock, 35, of Boyertown, are being held liable in the May 7, 2020 death of Ramon Morales, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele, and Pottstown Police Chief Mick Markovich said.

Arrest Made In July Shooting Of Newark Man, 22
An arrest has been made in last July's shooting of 22-year-old Tyree R. Quinones.
Al-Muqtadir Padgett, 32, a city resident, shot Quinones near 115 Sunset Ave., on July 13, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.
Padgett was charged with murder, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Padgett is currently in custody at the Essex County Correctional facility.

Following the death of an 8-year-old Center Moriches boy, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone is launching a “top-to-bottom” review of how the Department of Social Services handled the case.Thomas Valva was found dead in the driveway of his home at 11 Bittersweet Lane, in Center Moriches, around 9:40 a.m., Friday, Jan. 17. His father told officers he had fallen in the driveway.
