Henri: Here's How Many Massachusetts Residents Are Now Without Power
Tens of thousands of residents in Massachusetts lost power overnight as crews worked through the night to make repairs required by hurricane turned tropical storm turned tropical depression Henri.
According to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, as of 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 23, more than 1,200 people were without power, with repairs made through the night and morning to leave approximately 200 in the dark as of 9:45 a.m.
In Western Massachusetts, just 95 of Eversource’s 220,755 customers were reporting outages, led by Westhampton (54), and Montgomery (22), Conway (17).

Thousands in Connecticut are without power following the round of storms that rolled through the region, though the damage was not as bad as expected.
As late Monday morning, Aug. 23, more than 8,000 of Eversource’s 1.28 million customers in the state are reporting outages.
United Illuminating is working to repair seven active outages impacting more than 1,100 of the company’s customers.

Henri: Eversource Crews Responding As Tropical Storm Comes Ashore With Heavy Rains
Thousands of line and tree crews from as far away as Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Canada are working to restore power to Eversource customers following intense rain and high winds from Tropical Storm Henri.
Workers are in the process of clearing blocked roads, assessing damage, and restoring power.
As of 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, crews have restored power to more than 32,000 customers since the storm began.
Approximately 27,000 Eversource customers in Connecticut are without power as a result of the storm, the majority in the eastern part of the state.

Utility crews across the state worked overnight to make repairs, with several hundred still in the dark as of around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
