54-Year-Old Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Fiery Woodstock Crash
Police in Connecticut have identified the man killed in a Windham County crash last month as a 54-year-old whose truck struck a pole and caught fire, authorities said.
Craig David Laliberte, 54, of Southbridge, Massachusetts, was behind the wheel when his Ford F-350 veered off Route 198 in Woodstock, Windham County, just after 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, state police said.
The truck was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene.
The Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified Laliberte after an autopsy, and police contacted his next of kin.

Ex-Boyfriend Arrested In Connection To Homicide Of Westchester Woman, 24, Found In Greenwich
Greenwich and New Rochelle police have arrested a former boyfriend in the murder of Valerie Reyes, the Westchester woman who was found dead bound and stuffed inside a suitcase in a wooded Greenwich area.
On Tuesday, Feb. 12, New Rochelle Police detectives, accompanied by Greenwich Police detectives, arrested Javier DeSilva, of Queens, in New York who had fraudulently used Reyes’ ATM card, said New Rochelle Police Capt. Cosmo Costa.

CT Man Pleads Guilty To Distributing Heroin, Fentanyl
A statewide law enforcement initiative targeting narcotics dealers who distribute heroin, fentanyl or opioids led to the arrest of a Connecticut man who pleaded guilty to a drug charge following the death of one of his alleged customers.
