Graduating senior Aditi Singh is one of just 621 semifinalists selected from a total of nearly 5,300 candidates expected to graduate from U.S. high schools this year. The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is now in its 55th year. Morgan, a lifelong resident of Elmsford, died following a short battle with cancer on Thursday, April 4. He was 63. Dozens of firefighters responded to the Wildcliff Manor in New Rochelle shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, when a fire was reported at the building, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Bergen Tech Students Make Donated Humvee Street Legal For Hackensack Police Department Doing their part for public safety, a group of students in the Bergen County Technical School Basic Auto Body Class helped convert a donated Humvee to join the Hackensack Police Department’s fleet. The vehicles are used for high-water rescues in the city – which have been happening more frequently with the increased rainfall this year.
