2 Store Clerks Accused Of Selling Alcohol To Minors During Riverhead Compliance Check Two Long Island businesses were cited for allegedly selling alcohol to minors. Compliance checks were conducted at 19 retail vendors throughout the Town of Riverhead on Tuesday, Aug. 20. The operation targeted the sale of alcohol products to patrons under the age of 21. The following vendors were found not to comply: Mobil, 3705 Middle Country Road, Calverton Shell, 626 W. Cat Found On Streets Around Frederick Neighborhood Tests Positive For Rabies: Health Officials The Frederick County Health Department is cautioning that a cat found roaming around an area neighborhood has tested positive for rabies. An alert was issued on Thursday, Aug. 15, advising the community that a cat that was tracked down in the 3000 block of Garfield Road that later tested positive for the virus after attacking two people. Officials say that on Wednesday, there were multiple reports about a stray cat who had become feral and went after people in the area.
