On Friday, Aug. 18 at approximately 11:05 a.m., the East Brunswick Police Department was notified of an activated panic alarm at the Columbia Bank (389 Highway 18). Crash Sends Jeep Into Paramus Bank A driver sustained a minor injury after a collision Monday night sent her Jeep into a former Paramus bank building. Both vehicles were towed after the crash on South Fairview Avenue near the Rochelle Park border shortly before 8:30 p.m. Paramus and Rochelle Park police and Rochelle Park firefighters and EMS were among the responders. The robber in the black hooded sweatshirt made off with $10,000 in cash after passing a note at the Columbia Bank on Broadway just after 4:30 p.m., authorities said.
