Busted Again: Rockland Driver, Passenger Caught With Meth, Smack, More, Mahwah PD Says
Mahwah police found a Rockland driver and his passenger carrying meth, heroin and more during an overnight traffic stop, authorities said.
It was the second time in months that they arrested Yisroel Lieberman, 24, of Spring Valley and Natalie Shein, 30, of Brooklyn on drug charges.
The first time, as with this week's bust, began with a motor vehicle equipment violation, police said.
Detectives Timothy Letavish and Christopher Fasulo the couple in a vehicle in the parking lot of a Franklin Turnpike gas station around 1 a.m. Monday, Detective Capt. Guido Bussinelli said.

Police: Hackensack Man Assaults Pregnant Girlfriend, Vandalizes Apartment Over Bus Fare
An unemployed Hackensack man knocked down his pregnant girlfriend, kicked her in the stomach and trashed her apartment – smashing the TV, furniture and dishes – over $5, authorities said.
Responding Officer Michael Reo quickly broadcast a description of Shaka Tyler, 36, who’d fled the Main Street apartment following Monday’s assault, Capt. Darrin DeWitt said.
Officers Steven Lemanowicz and Aaron Rios nabbed Tyler several blocks away, DeWitt said.
He was carrying MDMA, the captain said.

Garfield Sales Clerk Collected, Distributed Child Porn, Authorities Charge
A retail sales clerk from Garfield trafficked child porn, said authorities who arrested him.
Justin Leigh Macancela, 22, had more than 2,000 digital files “depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children,” Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Wednesday.
He also shared more than 500 files, Musella said.
Macancela was sent to the Bergen County Jail, pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, following his arrest Tuesday on charges of possession of child pornography.
Police: Employee, 39, Arrested After Fair Lawn Pizzeria Assault
FAIR LAWN, P.D. -- A Fair Lawn pizzeria employee was arrested after police said he whacked his boss in the head with a metal spatula.
Danaury Rodriguez, 39, became angry after the 51-year-old owner of Biagio's Pizza & Pasta on Fair Lawn Avenue told him to clean sometime around 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sgt. Sean Macys said.
The owner, who lives in Nutley, sustained a small cut on his head, Macys said.
Rodriguez remained at the scene and was arrested on aggravated assault and weapons charges, he said.
He was released pending an appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
