Truck Stopped, Found To Be Over 18K Pounds Overweight In Rye, Police Say A company was issued summonses after one of their cement trucks was found to be tens of thousands of pounds overweight during a Westchester traffic stop, police said.  The traffic stop happened on Tuesday, Aug. 13 around 9 a.m., when a cement truck was pulled over by the City of Rye Police Department for an equipment violation, the department said. After police stopped the truck, they found it to be loaded with 10 yards of concrete without an overweight permit. Cement Truck Overturns On Route 287: Njsp A cement truck overturned following a crash on Route 287 in Morris County on the early morning of Wednesday, Aug. 14, authorities said. At 2:07 a.m., a cement truck collided with a passenger vehicle on Route 287 north in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Following the crash, the cement truck overturned, Lebron said. No injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

It happened on Friday, Sept. 15 in Manorville, according to Suffolk County Police. At approximately 12:30 p.m., 40-year-old Aaron Wolk was driving a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle on South Street when, at the intersection of Silas Woods Road, he purportedly struck a cement truck.
