Queen May posted surveillance video on Instagram showing two people breaking through a glass front door at around 2:59 a.m. on Sunday, May 5. Services have been set for Dennis John Frick, of Freehold Township, who died in a crash on Route 1 Wednesday, March 6. He was 65 years old. Visitation is on Sunday, March 10 for Dennis, who became a senior vice president with Heller Construction where he worked for 35 years, according to his obituary published by Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home. Jersey Shore Boardwalks Get $100M For 'Vital' Upgrades
Jersey Shore communities are getting $100 million in state grants to make crucial repairs to their boardwalk, officials said. The Boardwalk Preservation Fund money will go to 18 municipalities in Atlantic, Cape May, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean counties, Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Friday, Feb. 23. Taking a vehicle on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry this summer is going to come with a price. A higher one. The commission for the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) approved a new fare schedule for the ferry, the DRBA announced on Monday, Feb. 5. The new rates will go into effect on Monday, Apr. 1. In-season fares for standard vehicles and motorcycles will go up by $1. Fares will go up by $2 for vehicles 26 to 45 feet long, and $3 for vehicles longer than 46 feet. Missing NJ Boater Reunited With Family After Week Adrift
A boater out of Jersey City was reunited with his family last week after he went missing sailing to Bermuda, the Coast Guard said. No one had heard from the mariner since Monday, Nov. 6, and the Coast Guard Atlantic Area command center began a search and rescue effort, the Coast Guard said. Another ship, the Time Bandit, heard an alert, and on Wednesday, Nov. 15, found a vessel that matched the description of the missing boat, the Coast Guard said.
