A Bucks County man is getting jail time after targeting a law enforcement officer for the second time, the US Department of Justice said in a Thursday, Nov. 14 news release.
Anthony Lombardo, 46, of Bristol, was sentenced to 54 months in prison and three years of supervised release for assaulting a federal officer on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, the news release states.

An accused drug dealer sits in a Bucks County jail cell after police say they caught him at a Bensalem motel with guns, cash, and narcotics.
Basheon Johnson, a 36-year-old Bristol resident, is charged with drug possession with intent to deliver and illegal firearm possession, said Bensalem police. He is also wanted by the Sheriff's Office for an outstanding warrant, the department noted.

Daniel S. Dietrich, 45, of Palmyra, New Jersey, was arrested Friday, March 10, and charged with homicide, driving on a suspended license, and related counts, said Bucks District Attorney Matthew Weintraub.

One suspect was arrested and three remain at large after altering checks that were stolen from PO boxes and making more than $30,000 worth of fraudulent deposits, Flemington police said.

Penny Jo Weigand, of Bristol, died on Friday, April 1, her obituary says. She was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in early September 2021, and had been fighting it ever since, according to a GoFundMe launched for her medical and funeral expenses.
