Bedford Woman Fatally Shot Parents In Their Car: DA
A Bedford woman was arrested and charged with killing her parents on Thursday, June 6, after she told someone she had killed them, authorities said.
Jessica Cavallaro, 24, has been charged with murder, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injuries, and illegal possession of a firearm, the Middlesex District Attorney said.
Bedford police received a 911 call around 9 a.m. Thursday that said Cavallaro had told them that she had shot and killed her parents, the prosecutor said.

Authorities are investigating a string of overnight burglaries at four gas stations in Northern Westchester, including one that involved the removal of an ATM machine.
The incidents happened over Thursday night, Sept. 21, and Friday morning, Sept. 22 at four gas stations in Bedford, according to Bedford Police Det. Matt Whalen.

Thanks to the quick action from an off-duty police officer and fire captain from Westchester, a retired firefighter who collapsed after a basketball game is on the mend.
