Police Investigating Reported Attempted Abduction Of 12-Year-Old Boy In Area Police are investigating a report of an attempted abduction involving a 12-year-old boy. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 5:48 p.m. when the victim told police that he was approached on East Market Street in Red Hook by a shorter white male, with gray facial hair and possibly gray hair, driving a blue Chevrolet pickup truck.  According to Red Hook Police, the victim said he was walking westbound on East Market Street when the male pulled up next to him and said: "Hi, I know your father." Search On For Suspects Who Tried To Lure Child In Suffern, Police Say Police are on the hunt for the suspects who allegedly attempted to lure a child into a vehicle in Suffern The incident took in the early afternoon Saturday in the Foxwood area of Suffern while a boy was walking his dog, the Suffern Police said on Facebook. According to the post, the child told police a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a sedan, pulled up next to him and a female passenger told him to get in the car.  The child immediately ran away into his residence and advised his family what had transpired and they contacted the police department.  The incident is currently un…
